In action about a hour ago. Water jumped the berm so we dug deeper trenches – now waiting for the next storm to move in. Power keeps going out too. Not a highly productive day in the office.
Preparing for a deluge… Making trenches so the road won't turn into a riverbed when it rains. After numerous floods and mudslides have learned to take rain seriously – but I think we finally have the situation mastered. Fingers crossed!
Oh how I love summer monsoons…
Having a moment with Franz Erhard Walther…
Selling green calcite and a bunch of other gems and minerals at the HDTS HQ (at the sky village swap meet today) – will be here at least until noon, come over and shop and help support our programming!
Really great outdoor screening of the film "Eden"s Edge" by Gerard Treml at The Palms tonight – one of those perfect summer nights. #HDTS
Spent the afternoon editing a series of interviews that I've been working on with Bob Carr for a new HDTS book series that will come out next year – here's my favorite Bob Carr quote of the day: " When I studied Astrology and Yoga and Meditation and all that sort of thing, even then I realized that this was not something that I was going to do all of my life. What I wanted to do was study it closely enough to ingrain it in myself so that it became automatic just like my other functions…. And then I’m literally meditating on my feet as my life unfolds. "
Feel like I could look at the results of the tie dye weaving experiments all day! (This is a tiny section of a huge weaving with lots of intricate variations)
